Castles In The Sand

That's the only thing I've been building lately. We just got back from camping at Indiana Dunes State Park.
We've been to the beach several times but never camped overnight. The newly renovated campground was very pleasant. Shower house and toilets were clean and the beach would have been a short walk away but the girl insisted on taking a "shortcut" over the dunes.
Hiking a couple trails, searching for shells and checking out the
Nature Center filled our stay. We also saw quite a bit of wildlife;
deer, heron, squirrels, chipmunk, raccoon, a snake, hummingbirds and
seagulls. If you like ecological variety in your camping trip, I recommend visiting the Dunes!
