Went to the annual Gardenfest yesterday and got my free tree provided by Indiana Soil & Water Conservation's "Plant a Million Trees" Project. I opted for a Dogwood since we're on a town lot with limited space. The sapling is only about 18" tall but has several branches and a good root system. Since trees are so "permanent" today's decision about where to plant it is really big.
Mm.... dogwoods are pretty! Good choice!
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I was better at gardening and stuff like that. I like having a pretty yard, but I don't like how much work it is! Life is better for me to pay someone to do all that stuff. lol
