There is nothing like ringing in the New Year with a house project, and this one includes alcohol! After celebrating with our neighbors, I went upstairs to get the kids' rooms ready and that's when I discovered the marks. The boy had been playing with a new toy that follows any thick black line drawn on paper. But he failed to realize it was bleeding though onto the wood floor. So shortly after midnight I pulled out a bottle of rubbing alcohol, a couple cotton balls and began cleaning the marks off. At least my cleanup job wasn't as big as Times Square :)
