Profuse apologies for the severe lack of posting lately, but having changed jobs and putting in 10-12 hour days while learning the ropes doesn't leave much time for more than changing light bulbs and taking out the trash. We did manage to salvage enough time to have a 10th birthday party for the little prince. Hard to believe he'll be driving in a few years!
We took him and a few buddies out to
Indy Slots for an evening of fun. No that's not an OTB facility, but model slot race cars. We spent about three hours there and had the large eight lane tri-oval all to ourselves. These cars are much larger than the HO scale we race at home and came complete with electronic timing. The boys had lots of fun and everyone took home a ribbon, but the birthday boy won the trophy.
