Remember the problem with the freezer a while back? Apparently the real problem wasn't resolved. The drain line was still frozen shut. So tonight I emptied the freezer, took all the access panels off and began the joyous task of chipping and blow drying the drain.
After an hour, it finally cleared. It appears that there is a bend in the drain, probably for cooling efficiency or something. But because the fridge doesn't quite sit level, the water was pooling and finally froze closed - sounds a lot like cholesterol! You would think that an access panel would have been provided to clean out the trap. At least we're back in business, and I only "had" to eat one Popsicle that was melting :)

When ever you have to work in the freezer during the summer it is always a two popsicle job.
