With temps topping out in the 80's we're again faced with the decision of whether to leave the windows open or closed. Threat of rain and night time cooling would suggest keeping them closed but then the house heats up during the day.
Another first of the season was dragging out the lawn mower. There was one little strip beside the walk that was already out of control and of course the bit between the sidewalk and the road has shot up. Why I can't get the rest of the yard to grow like that I'll never know.
Daffodils are all in bloom and I noticed that the rhubarb had broke through with it's first shoots. Isn't it great to walk around the garden and "discover" new plants whose locations had been forgotten?
