Here is another great book from our local library: Stickley Craftsman Furniture Catalogs, Unabridged Reprints of Two Mission Furniture Catalogs: "Craftsman Furniture Made by Gustav Stickley" and " The Work of L. & G. Stickley". The short introduction gives us the historical setting for these two catalogs and their significance to both history and design. I really like how the 594 illustrations include dimensions. There are even sections devoted to lighting, needlework, metalwork and rugs. I'll probably never find, much less own a real Stickley piece, but this book gives plenty of ideas for reproducing the look in my own projects. It is also available from Amazon.
