Yesterday I got to be superdad and play with wood glue! During a recent play date, a friend of Elizabeth's accidentally stepped on the head of one of her matryoshka dolls, breaking it into four pieces. The problem was that her room was such a wreck we couldn't find all the pieces. But yesterday while pulling out another toy she discovered the missing pieces. Superdad and his sidekick wood glue to the rescue! It was a delicate procedure and it was a good thing her nimble fingers were willing to help. She even got out her pink, dolphin sunglasses for some stylish eye protection (must be careful around wood glue)! So we finally got the doll back together again. Maybe we'll tackle Humpty Dumpty next!
