Yesterday we made several purchases at an antique store in Amy's hometown. When you personally know the dealers it helps to barter for a lower price. We picked up several glass Pyrex refrigerator containers (medium turquoise with lid #502, I believe), a white enamel, three shelf rolling kitchen cart, and this:
We spent $25 for each tin. They have a definite "arts & crafts" font and scene. The brown paint has a faux wood grain pattern to it. Obviously the paint is chipped and there is some rust on the insides. I'm not sure if the knobs are original.
A quick look on the Internet didn't turn up any quick links to identify the manufacturer. So any ideas on how to research their value? I don't think that Antiques Roadshow is coming to Indy any time soon.
